The "elite" who can afford private school are not at all affected by the immigrant children who arrive who are not able to speak English and who are illiterate in their home language. Fortunately, more and more people are homeschooling and more and more states are choosing to have the money follow the child. Hopefully, others will be able to afford private schools.
