The fact some people award it invisible brownie points because it's in the McLean pyramid should be inconsequential. Property taxes are based on value of land and building. There's no "school" category. You can make the argument that the land is tied to pyramid, but that was never the intention. That's an artificial mark-up given by buyers and sellers.[/quote] There’s like one person making the “brownie points” argument and you’re pretending it’s the prevailing sentiment. It makes one think you’re actually in favor of affirmatively discriminating against the pyramid because of the relative affluence of some of its residents. They just want to receive the same consideration as other pyramids like Justice, Madison, etc. [/quote]
