I think it was not just the way he treated Nikki or Vivek, but the way he treated his co-hosts. He shut them down repeatedly. Go watch the end of that clip with Vivek--the very end, he was being very rude to Poppy.
Yeah, I used to watch CNN in the morning. I just wanted the news. If I wanted soft-lighted chitty chat I would have watched Today or GMA. But when CNN decided that what America really needed in the morning was another Matt Lauer and a couple of side chicks, they lost me. And that's what they decided to do. Don Lemon as the alpha male - but gay and black, so different! - and a couple of accomplished attractive women who were expected to quietly defer. It was an uncomfortable mess from the beginning. Lemon is a misogynistic, overbearing prima donna with an ego the size of Jupiter. And you felt sorry for the co-hosts. Who needs that kind of tension first thing in the morning? On the upside, instead of watching morning tv, I started doing yoga again. So thanks CNN management
+100
Completely agree as well. He comes across as an arrogant jerk and I can understand why the co-hosts had issues with him.
+1 He and Cuomo both came across that way. I only watched CNN because of Anderson Cooper.
