Not surprising given the recent report in Variety about his misogynistic behaviour.
He’ll sue and claim racism. Watch
As well he should, because it was CLEARLY racially motivated. You’re telling me a network can just fire the most well known Black anchor on the air and just be like “what? It wasn’t racial. Just business.” BS. Lemon was fired to being Black and speaking his mind.
He also got into a ridiculous argument with Vivek a few days ago. You can look that up.
The only one who was ridiculous was Vivek, who says the Civil War was fought so that Black people could have guns, and that the NRA guaranteed Black people's freedom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l5QqyN_How
Don Lemon’s response was nothing but you can’t say that or have that opinion because I’m black. He didn’t make any legitimate points.
He didn't say Vivek couldn't have an opinion. But Lemon did respond when Vivek said this: “The part that I find insulting,” Ramaswamy said, “is when you say today Black Americans don’t have those rights after we have gone through civil rights revolution in this country.” And Don Lemon responded: “The fact that I find insulting,” Lemon said, “is that you are sitting here telling an African American about the rights and what you find insulting about the way I live, the skin I live in every day, and I know the freedoms that Black and white — that Black people don’t have in this country and that Black people do have.”
Exactly what rights/freedoms do black people NOT have? We'll wait. DP
