I am Black, and honestly, this entire thread of judgmental women just makes me sick. You sound EXACTLY like all the white women who love to make comments about how "wild" my natural curly hair is, or how "brave" I am to not straighten my hair or some other judgmental and dismissive comment wrapped in faux admiration. The way that my hair naturally grows out of my head is considered unprofessional/unkempt/ugly/etc in the west, while the way that the most white people's hair naturally grows out of their heads is acceptable. Get over yourselves.

Can y'all please STOP trying to police everything about other people. Leave our bodies alone. Seriously. If your immediate thought is to dismiss me as an overly sensitive snowflake and not consider that you might be participating in upholding white supremacy, you are the problem.[/quote]
