Looks like a good number of Fairfax schools are in a similar situation: WestPo looks like 4 games over 5 days; For Robo and Madison, it looks like 4 games over 6 days. 
Yorktown (in another county) has some cushion for rest. Maybe FX school officials should take a look at that for future schedules.[/quote]

Unfortunately this has been an issue for years about the scheduling. There won't be any change to FCPS policy in regards to scheduling 14 games individually. Bill Curran has stated that to produce equity to all FCPS schools, there has to be an even playing field for scheduling and the max they will pay for is 11. It is a battle that lacrosse will never win. Schools like Yorktown have a huge advantage when it comes to scheduling their games where they can allocate 14 however they want. Plus they also get to have 8th graders on their JV teams so they get early exposure to their future varsity players.  [/quote]

Feel like we have a coach on the board.  Somebody knows what they are talking about.  Seems like a ridiculous rule that likely leads to more injuries by forcing teams to cram four games into a week in a contact sport where that really shouldn't be done.  [/quote]

There are teams playing 5 games over the course of the next week.  My sone has games Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday and then another stretch with games Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Tuesday [/quote]
