Bethesda Row is packed because it's probably the only decent shopping area in Bethesda. Even the it's relatively limited in size. Friends who come to visit Bethesda are surprised by how run down many areas are despite it supposedly being one of the most affluent areas in Maryland. [/quote]

What did they think was "run down"? Which of the Joe Malone, tea, kitchen, or other shops? And where do your friends live, the Ile de France?[/quote]
