Why on earth would you be bringing her to your gynecologist/OB?

You should be bringing her to a gynecologist that specializes in adolescents... ie; a gynecologist that's on the younger side, and isn't THAT far removed from remembering what it was like when she went through it.

She's not gong to open up to her mom's gynecologist, as she'll be afraid she'll go back and tell you everything they talked about.

I have 3 daughters who are 14, 16 & 18, and never once did I think to have them see my gynecologist/OB.
Their gynecologist is in her late 20's and is far more relatable to them than mine would be.
