For Bruce, I "won" the lottery which got me a code for ticket sales. They day before tickets went on sale, I received a text and it tells you the email you need to use for ticketmaster and provides a specific code. So make sure you know what your limits are going in (I am only willing to pay $X/ticket).  Remember - the last stadium tour as it got close to the concert date, there were lots of tickets to be had) 
Finally - tips to grab tickets when you do get through the queue - don't be picky - go for a section and grab the seats you want because my experience (for Bruce) was that by the time I clicked to pay, I got a "sorry - some other fan just purchased those tickets.
