I’d like to join also. I’m 42. Had 10-15 pounds more to loose last October but it’s been a rough year. Im hoping to loose 18-27 pounds by mid January. I’m also tracking hip and waist size and ratio as my body is an apple. I’d also feel Successful if I just 1) exercised every day between here and mid January. I tend to set big goals and get discouraged when I fall behind.[/quote I'm checking in now that I've had a little success. I started the month at 172. I'm now at 169. My goal is 145. I haven't made much progress this month but at least I'm going in the right direction. My biggest challenge is that I eat my emotions. Its been a frustrating start to the school year for a variety of reasons. I'm sure most of the 3lbs I've lost is due to being sick this past week. The good news for September is that I've started to recognize in the moment that I'm over eating because of my emotions AND curbed what I've eaten as a result.

Welcome! Sounds like you are making good progress in recognizing your food triggers and trying to circumvent them and that’s a big part of this, right? Yay, you. I’ve been dieting now for over a year and where I used to eat my feelings I now have a disciplined routine of when and what I eat. So I’ll have to be careful as I get closer to my goal (85 lbs lost so far, 16 more to go!) that I don’t just step off the routine altogether, but work in what we can do on maintenance. Congrats on your progress and welcome! :)
Thank you. Congrats to YOU on your progress and getting so close to your goal. I have every confidence you'll achieve it!
