Why the lack of interchanges???
Because that isn't the point. The locals do not need more access. The entire point of the route is to provide a bypass around the one stop sign town of Brookeville. Right now, you have a lot of traffic, which is about 98% pass-through traffic that are going through this tiny community and they have to stop and make a 90 degree turn. The road is narrow there and it endangers the community members and pets and is a time wasting delay for the many people traveling through there. So the bypass is going to give a faster route around the little community, provide safety for the locals by not having pass-through traffic speeding through their neighborhood and allow the pass through traffic to go around without having to stop and make a partially obstructed turn. This will be good for everyone who uses Georgia Ave for commuting and for the Brookeville residents. The Brookeville residents can enter at either endpoint of the bypass, on the existing roads which go from high volume pass-through to low volume local traffic only.
