Chiming in to say I am 43 and terrified of mammograms. I had one for a lump five years ago and it was benign. But I have been so afraid to go back. No chemo or radiation required. Early detection is a gift. Just take it one small step at a time, starting with scheduling the routine mammogram and then showing up on the day. Bring earbuds and enjoy sone good music while you wait. And remember, odds are you’re going to be completely fine!!
