All she did was accelerate polarization of R and L factions and contribute to the hollowing out of the middle ground upon which consensus has to be built.

As other posters have mentioned here: Cheney has never condemned her dad's positions on Iraq.  VP Cheney created and promoted a torture framework for use by Federal agents.  Ironically it was Trump in the 2016 primaries who called out Jeb Bush over Jeb's support for Iraq.  Trump demolished 15 years of Republican orthodoxy in a 90 minute primary debate.[/quote]

I don't think we should visit the sins of the fathers onto the children. Judge Liz by her actions. And right now her actions make her a defender of democracy, which is more than can be said for most of her colleagues. 
It's more courageous on her and Kinzinger's part to buck their party's trend, than it is for the Democrats to criticize everything Trump does.[/quote]
