[/quote] I've raised this point before, so I know that someone will soon chime in to say that it's not the infection that's the problem, it's the policies in place to address the infection. There's some truth to that when it comes to quarantine policies, especially for schools and daycares serving younger children. But more and more, people are actually sick for 3 or more days. I know people who couldn't do anything for five-plus days when laid up with COVID. I've had the flu once in the last 15 years. Once of the reasons that I try to encourage my kids to be careful, while still participating in things that are important to them, is to avoid having to miss important things. [/quote]
