Yes, you should praise police for doing excellent work.  They are county employees too.   Look at very liberal Howard County Executive Calvin Ball.  He supports his department 100%.

MCPD hasn't "murdered" anyone.   That's a legal term.   But I guess you think abortion is murder too.

Police have a right to self defense just like we do, but we call them to go address the violent crime so we don't have to.   The only alternatives to police are vigilante justice or military intervention.   I say no thanks to either of those options.  Give me well-trained police any day.[/quote]
