If you’re Mormon you’re basically giving up your entire Sundays - YES

have to spend them only with family - NO

You’ll have to give your basement over to the storage of three - NO years’ worth of food and water.  = ONE year

if your kid is gay or trans you’ll be shunned - Hilarious, because every large LDS family has at least one gay member, and guess what, the gay people aren't shunned  either!  At least if their family is following church teachings.

Yeah, seriously.  Like LGBTQ+ is at least 10% of the population and both religious Jews and Mormons have huge families (like 10 kids) so do the math.

And these super weird rules are exactly what makes these religions so cool.  Like shake/spin a chicken (Jewish) and wear bizarre long undies (LDS). It's like joining a secret club. You got to be a part of it to know all the rules!

The key is being a rebel within the religion.  Be the one who sees that the prohibition against bacon technically only applies to the priests (true!) or that alcohol of one's own making is technically allowed under Smith (true!).

And before anyone comments about how being a "rebel" isn't following the religion, look at it's creators. Abraham smashed idols, Smith rejected Christianity, Jesus himself was a major reformer of Judaism.  All the founders of religions are always rebels. So be like the founders and not the followers![/quote]
