That’s not what the Tesla X offers, but we find it very usable.[/quote] Tesla X is $30K - $60K more expensive than the R1S. I would consider that a significant price difference. And for now, Rivian still has a tax credit. If you ordered the X today, you'd have to go the Plaid to get it anytime soon (Aug-Oct 2022), otherwise the dual motor version (still $106K+) is first half of 2023 which isn't that different from Rivian. My point about the X third row still stands - it is usable in a pinch, but that's about it.[/quote]
