Why not just leave it as is and let them know that you’re there to listen and offer solutions if they become self conscious about it? I grew up in the 80s and my mom said nothing. One day I noticed another kid looking at my leg hair and mentioned it to my mom. She explained hair removal options and told me she’d help me if/when I wanted. Several years later, I started shaving.
