Agreed with the PP. I'm as self-conscious as anyone, but I just head to come on when I read that title. I'm sure OP looks great and I too have hang ups even though I'm thin, but I do have to admit that my first thought was "wait I'm supposed to want to die to be shorter, less curvy, and flatter?" also, OP said she's 26. Woop de do. How many kids does she have? If this was someone in their 40s who had kids and still looks great, then we'd be talking. 5'8", 135, 32C, two kids by the way - and I too have horrendous body image
Really? What's not to like?
Thanks, PP. That's nice to hear. I rationally think I do look pretty good, but of course numbers don't tell the whole story either. Someone previously mentioned how brutal high school can be for tall girls and I definitely felt that (even though I'm not even super tall). It always seemed like high school boys like girls that are OP's size. I always felt like I was just bigger than everyone else. My feet are bigger (size 9) and my hands seem bigger (again, like a PP said). Again, rationally, duh - I am a bigger person than OP is, but I'm very proportionate. But it's still hard to not compare. I'm not as toned as I'd like to be. I used to go to the gym daily pre-kids, now I'm lucky to go twice a week. I'm a C-cup, but after having been pregnant twice, they're not perky. And stupid things - like I think I have a long torso, so my legs are shorter than they should be for my height (not that anyone has ever ever said anything even close to that to me, it's totally in my head). My husband's girlfriends were all in the 5'4" range before me, so I feel like he likes shorter women than me, which also bugs me. So yes, for a mid-30s mom of two, I have a great body. Clothes fit me well and trends usually look good on me. But I have weird body image things like anyone else.
