The good news is that your tax dollars are dictated by a variety of bodies, including the County Council, the School Board, and the state legislature. However, it's not like "your" elected representatives from West County are constantly battling with the East County reps. They all pretty much vote the same way, suggesting that they are reflecting the broad will of the electorate. That may not be your personal will, but c'est la vie in a democracy. [/quote]
