We're about to move into a rental right near the Evening Star Cafe and I'll be commuting to Penn Quarter (right near Capital One Arena).  Need to be at work around 8a and done by 4/4:30.

What route would you recommend in the AM and coming back in the PM?  
Google maps suggest cutting down to slaters-&gt;GW in the AM (and reversed in the PM) but not sure how wise it is to head south to go north at those times and vice-versa.

Whatever this guy posts in response, ignore.  Look at his spoofs and troll posts.  He is completely unbelievable (like the lady above said, 395 takes you to 110 unless you're gonna schlep through Crystal City) and it is highly doubtful he even leaves his house.  If you want good information, then check out NextDoor and FaceBook when you get here.  From Evening Star, you're pretty much in the heart of Del Ray.  You don't have a lot of good options for a fast trip.  I would trust Google maps.[/quote]
