[/quote] that 8-15k is for retirement...most wealthy people's largest retirement assets are not an IRA or 401(k)... my taxable is far larger than our combined 401(k)s and will always be. If you are making 600k + you need to save WAY more than the max 401k allotments to be in any shape to retire comfortably.
