Everyone remembers Moscow’s Afghanistan disaster. But the key turning-point was: - US Stinger anti-aircraft missiles (which are fired by a single individual). Advanced versions of those missiles are flowing over the border, along with advanced western anti-tank missiles. This is not Chechnya.
From where ? Romania ? I thought Putin bombed all the Ukraine airport runways . How are masses of supplies getting in ? Certainly am rooting for Ukraine, but just asking realisticly how are we able to supply ?
Poland, Romania, maybe the Black Sea, but that’s probably dicey, given the concentration of Russian troops in the south. Ukraine has 2 NATO borders, so we’ll always have a line in, it’s getting the weapons in hands that’ll be a challenge, especially if that 40 mile convoy ever encircles Kyiv.
Yes, thanks. On its own, Poland has trucked-in several metric tons of lethal aid. When even neutral Sweden (and Russia’s pseudo-ally Finland) decide to send lethal aid, it speaks loudly about the resolve to stop Putin - militarily - this time. If you are unsure what “militarily” means here, it means killing as many troops sent over the border by Putin and Belarus. Putin is not negotiating in good faith here.
