Fun fact, buy an electric car and who cares. All the red necks with their lifted F250 super duty are the ones complaining about gas prices. I don’t know a person that has mentioned gas prices, most don’t even look because they know they need it and it’s really not that big of a deal. Gas is still much lower than it was in 2005-2007 time frame.
Probably because you live in a liberal bubble. And, ..... If you "don't know a person that has mentioned gas prices," how do you know they are "all the red necks with their lifted F250 super duty?"
Because everyone complaining on the internet/social media all drive dumb massive trucks (with no logical reason to own them other that is exudes FREEDOM!). I don’t drive an electric car bc I don’t care if gas is 3 or 4 a gallon. So did you just admit that a liberal bubble = self sufficient people who won’t freak out over a $.30 increase in gas prices!? If so, yup. That’s me!
Living in a liberal bubble is complaining from a place where your living does not come from driving for a living or relying on gas to get to the store to buy groceries or to the doctor's office. And, living in a liberal bubble is not understanding that millions have an income that even a 30 cent increase/gallon impacts their way of life.
These prices were higher 15 years ago. Not in “real” terms, although that was true also, but gas was $4/gal in low tax states in 2005. People were on notice.
Exactly. They were on notice when gas prices were at record highs under W Bush. And they continued to make dumb choices. They continued to live in places where they were dependent on cars. They continued to buy cars that used gasoline. They didn’t decide to change careers and earn more money. They were on notice 18 years ago, and they didn’t change their ways. Too bad. I hope they all starve, buying gas instead of food.
More like they continued to buy gas hogs that get 10 mpg. Did they really need that $60k suped-up pickup truck to drive to work at the local factory? No, they wanted it so they’d look like “real men”. A simple gas sipping sedan or subcompact really just wouldn’t do. Gas guzzlers are a luxury item and now the price has gone up. Cry me a river for these poor souls.
Do you have the same contempt for the big spenders on the Travel forum’s Travel/HHI thread?
