I think that they purposefully made Anna Chlumsky look bad. She is actually a very naturally pretty woman. She's supposed to be very preganant and working long hours. I don't know about you, but my kids were two weeks late and I looked horrible at work. I dress fashionably but was very much a beached whale taking the metro and walking to hearings and meetings.

I have encountered several people like Anna in DC. In my 20s, I had a friend who lived with an older family friend rent free in Georgetown. I had another friend who lived with his friends grandparents in Kalorama. There are other moms that lived the socialite lifestyle only to be indicted in federal court. Or people that seem to live way beyond their means at my kids' schools. My husband and I see past this. But most people do not. [/quote]
