Their sport is part of their HS experience, and I’d like them to have it, especially after last year. It doesn’t make sense to me, though, to stop all winter sports when every VHSL winter athlete is vaccinated. These kids will hopefully be in class all day five days a week with kids who are possibly unvaccinated. If this is such a sensible decision, why has no other school district taken similar steps?
