It's clear that FCV would dominate ECNL if let in.
FCV 09 - 1-1-1 FCV 08 - 1-2 FCV 07 - 1-1-1 FCV 06 - 3-0 FCV 05 - 2-1 FCV 04 - 0-1-2 FCV - 8-6-4 6 age groups and only two left California with a winning record.
Why does the club or team record matter? The point of these events is to give players exposure. College coaches were there to see specific players and don't care who wins the games. Why do you care so much who wins?
They were playing the in the champions league - it counted Even in the ECNL - showcase go to overall rankings for playoffs It's a misconception that showcase games are just for showcasing
Poor showing for fcv 04.
04's are already committed to colleges. Many do not want to travel to CA for these games
They all went - and who cares
nope, 3 kids did not go.
Let's play a game - how many were not the core 11 that are part of the starting lineup
2 - goalie and forward
Well - guess the team can't perform without them (that's the assertion - correct?)
The assertion is that FCV is all hype and no substance. I admit that they are probably a mid ECNL level team across all age groups. But not anything special as this showcase confirms. On par for BP and his clubs.
The performance of a team full of committed seniors is not indicative of the quality of the club. The lackluster performance of the younger age groups is more of a concern, especially factoring the general lower level of competition in GA overall as well as the outlook of the league in general.
It's called very poor coaching. If you have good players and lose games - it's all coaching.
This is their last trip to California, I’m sure the players and families were just enjoying their couple of days out there. I would say this about any U19 team. It is over for them and meaningless. It is very natural for everyone to have turned the page.
Besides the fact that they're trying to win a national championship
