Why does the club or team record matter? The point of these events is to give players exposure. College coaches were there to see specific players and don't care who wins the games. Why do you care so much who wins?[/quote]

They were playing the in the champions league - it counted

The assertion is that FCV is all hype and no substance. I admit that they are probably a mid ECNL level team across all age groups. But not anything special as this showcase confirms. On par for BP and his clubs.[/quote]

The performance of a team full of committed seniors is not indicative of the quality of the club. The lackluster performance of the younger age groups is more of a concern, especially factoring the general lower level of competition in GA overall as well as the outlook of the league in general.

This is their last trip to California, I’m sure the players and families were just enjoying their couple of days out there. I would say this about any U19 team. It is over for them and meaningless. It is very natural for everyone to have turned the page. [/quote]
