If that was the case, and it was known that this dog easily felt threatened, then they should never have put him in this situation!  The owner should have just come on without the dog, or with photos/videos of the dog instead of the actual dog.  If there were any known behavioral issues, the owner was really acting irresponsibly.[/quote]

I am the previous poster you quoted, what I described happens all the time on show sets that allow animals. Though this was not a wild animal the same rules should apply. An animal could be expected to be uncomfortable on a TV set with noises and commotion. I don't think I was implying behavioral issues just a sensitivity to the animals possible stress level. If there had been a previous incident were the dog was threatened and attacked then yes I think you are right and it was irresponsible.[/quote]
