I feel like the shot normalized my cycle after a year of wonkiness. I think I may have had Covid at the very beginning of the pandemic, way before the vaccines came out. I didn't get my period for months after being sick for about a week, and then it when it did finally come, it was abnormally short and light. After the shot in May (Pfizer), my cycles became more regular in timing and consistency, closer to prepandemic. However, I'm late this month. But I just turned 46 so I'm most likely premenopausal. I am curious to know if unvaccinated women who had COVID noticed any changes in their cycles.
I have heard this, that covid infection has messed up some women's cycles. It seems like all the side effects people have experienced from the vaccine are also present, often you a more extreme extent, with actual covid infection. I can't think of any exceptions.
Covid doesn't trigger Guillain Barre Syndrome.
It's rare but it's there: https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/959365#:~:text=Although%20Guillain%2DBarr%C3%A9%20syndrome,(IGOS)%20consortium.
