In all seriousness, at the end of the day, Youngkin may only win, if he wins at all, by 20,000. I feel like a lonely voice in the wilderness here. Official state election results show several precincts outstanding. And how would properly postmarked ballots that arrive today not break overwhelmingly for Terry?
Probably not 20k of them. It sucks big time but it will be ok. “I do not pretend to understand the moral universe: the arc is a long one, [and] my eye reaches but a little ways. I cannot calculate the curve and complete the figure by the experience of sight; … But from what I see I am sure it bends towards justice.” ~ Rev. Theodore Parker (1810-1860), Unitarian Minister
It bends toward progressive policies, that’s for sure. If indeed Youngkin has won, we progressives will be back soon enough.
Progressive politics is a symptom of a civilization that has grown fat and complacent and is in its late stages. Politics does bend progressive but eventually it leads to the system collapsing or slowly declining into irrelevance while less progressive, hungrier, rising powers fill in the vacuum.
