You should have watched Channel 8/7.  They had former Congressmen Davis and Moran, as well as the former head of the Virginia Democratic committee (so 2 Ds vs 1 R) and the entire exchange was very thoughtful, interesting and respectful.  I watched it for a few hours (from 7:30-10:30) and all three were in agreement from pretty early on that it was going to be 1) a Republican sweep of the statewide offices, and 2) a very likely chance for an even split or a R majority of the Va house.  Moran especially was firm in his belief, and very upset about it, He blamed national politics and his own party for not focusing more on Virginia specific issues.  He also said he wasn't surprised whatsoever at the results, even though he wanted it to go the other way.[/quote]
