Even if he's sued he has great insurance and they will handle it. How that works. It would be awful, but if it's not his fault he doesn't need to feel guilty. If a prop can kill you therein lies the blame of who authorized that prop.
Except the prop master walked off the set the day before, presumably after telling Alec his objections over set safety, and Alec still proceeded to use both dangerous props and keep the set open without adhering to safety protocols.
I don’t think Alec is the only responsible for keeping the set open.
Actually yes he is. As Producer (the highest ranking person on the production team) and Lead Actor if he says the set stays open - it stays open. Baldwin reteams with Crown Vic director Joel Souza for a Western in which he’ll play an infamous outlaw who comes out of hiding to stop his 13-year-old grandson from being hanged for murder. Highland Film Group will be handling sales of the project, which Baldwin also produces. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/alec-baldwin-upcoming-western-rust-croisette-memories-a-miss-marion-cotillard-1298939/
Several producers on this film and he’s not the Executive Producer.
