The thing is that maybe YOU or the other poster are providing their children with an education. But there are parents who will be able to just...not do that. There's nothing to stop them. That is educational neglect. It is a crime, or was until now.[/quote]

Or, realistically, even the people who THINK they are providing an education will really not be doing so, because they aren't educators and don't know what is supposed to be covered in school.
