That seems like a lie told because there was no anesthesiologist available. Doctors are working with known COVID + patients and wear appropriate gear. Not knowing this woman’s status wouldn’t have been reason to refuse care to a patient.[/quote]

Honestly denying pain medicine in labor is a violation of patient rights and you should ask for your records and speak to the patient advocate (don’t be surprised if your records reflect that you did not ask for an epidural)

Wearing a mask in a pandemic does not reach that level.[/quote]
