I think it's funny that all these coaches think they are so hot and moms are flirting with them all the time. It takes a certain kind of bravado/confidence to coach youth sports--when often (usually) the coaches know very very little about the sport and anyone can sign up to do it. It's probably the same false confidence that makes them think moms are flirting/hitting on them when they are just being normal and friendly. Have never found a youth dad-coach crushable but am always fake nice to them[i] so my kids get treated well and we don't burn bridges and am also appreciative of the effort and volunteerism. I have found other kids' dads crushable and the young professional paid coaches in some sports.
Why not just be nice. Not sure why you have to fake that. Dad's (and mom's) coach to coach and be with their kids. Most are nice or they would not invest the time and energy. I coached a lot. Never thought I was hit on/crushed on (and I am in shape and good looking), and that never crossed my mind.
