That is correct but that does not mean it translates into CMU grad makes more money than GMU grad.  The average CMU grad makes the same salary as GMU grad.  My oldest graduated from CMU with 3.7GPA in CS and he works for Amazon for 120k starting salary.  His younger brother graduated from JMU with 3.6 GPA in CS because he wanted to play sport there as a recruited athlete, also works for Amazon in sale for 120K starting salary.  That was two years ago.  The younger one just got promoted last year and he is making 145k.  His older brother is still making 120k.[/quote]
