But more fundamentally, you don't have the right to flout the rules or make people uncomfortable imply because you don't like the setup.  Males go one way, females go the other, unless very young.  If your kid is older than the cutoff, then *you* need to figure  out a way to deal with it without making people uncomfortable or breaking the rules.  "I don't have a choice" is complete nonsense.
