[/quote] I think there is a difference and should be differentiated that there are people who are anti-vax and those that are vaccine hesitant. I understand that Blacks are vaccine hesitant. It’s different than privileged higher socioeconomic anti-vax’ers who relay on others creating herd immunity. For Blacks there’s a history of mistreatment when it comes to medical trials. There’s a reason for the mistrust in the medical industry and the institutions. For instance, look at the clinical trials for COVID vaccine in children. 85% white, 11% Hispanic and about 5% Black. Another layer of complexity is access to the vaccines. I bring all this up because Charters serve a larger percentage of Blacks. So they’re hesitancy seems founded. It’s unfortunate but I understand.
