The US also has high income inequality -- maybe that leads to high criminality rates. I'd bet most criminals are unemployed. I can't see a person with a decent job going out and robbing and stealing. If we focused more on that, for example vocational training (instead of deciding everyone needs to go to college), that would probably help. But we still need enforcement of those who do break the law.[/quote]
