Amazing such a crap club like Loudoun outfoxed FCV and is now sitting in ECNL, rather than GAL. Must be doing something right
If waiting ten years to get ECNL only due to FCV's decision to leave ECNL is "outfoxing" then, ummmm, ok. VDA must have been playing the long game too then, and BRYC and Arlington, and Pipeline and the nearly 70 new ECNL clubs in the last 4 years.
1. VDA has been around 6 years 2. VDA was one of the the ONLY club on the East Coast with both Boys and Girls DA 3. VDA left after one year of the GDA. So did Hawks, PDA and others. Many clubs left after yer two as well. 4. ECNL in under US Club Soccer 5. The president of US Club Soccer is also a VDA person. VDA didn’t out fox anyone. They took a path and followed it. It worked out. Loudoun merged with FCV and FCV dismissed them. Loudoun pulled out And applied for ECNL and basically got the pot vacated by FCV. It worked out for them. That’s the way it goes.
The above point was a joke against Loudoun and your write up of VDA demonstrated how Loudoun didn't "out fox" anyone. Also, Loudoun has a -20 goal differential as a club in ECNL. ECNL may be more competition but Loudoun certainly isn't providing any.
