Borrowing trouble.
+100.
+200 I'm all for reopening everything once people who want to get vaccinated can, but right now there are plenty of people with underlying medical conditions who can't get vaccinated, let alone anyone who wants a vaccine. We really can't wait another month or two?
No. I can't wait another week. This is the one year anniversary of this whole debacle and I'm done.
Exactly. This pandemic is all about you.
My life is about me, yes. Sorry, but I've given you hypochondriacs a year of it. That's all you're getting.
Many of us lost loved ones. Over half a million people are dead. Maybe try to show some respect?
This person already told you they don't care. Can't convince someone they should care about others.
"I don't know how to convince you that you should care about other people." -Anthony Fauci
I like the guy but that is naive. Some Americans care about some other people but to think that everyone cares about everyone is fantasy land. If we cared about people we wouldn’t have child poverty, homelessness, etc. If we cant even get it together to keep what is it a few hundred thousand kids from sleeping in a car or on the street every night how on earth would you expect someone to care about some old person they never met who could possible get covid and die like 5 years too soon.
Millions of children in the developing world die each year from a lack of basic medical supplies or adequate nutrition, which could be covered for months by the cost of one restaurant meal. Please explain to me why it’s okay to ignore those deaths and go about our daily lives, but when it comes to doing the same with reference to COVID it suddenly makes you a horrible evil person. Yes, it may seem heartless for people to say that they’re unwilling to continue to limit certain social activities to reduce COVID spread and save lives but unless you have opted to forgo all discretionary spending and contribute anything beyond your basic needs to charity you are a hypocrite. Someone could just as easily ask you if your Uber eats delivery was more important than a starving child receiving needed food or care. Almost almost human beings are inherently selfish and commit selfish acts every day.
