That’s going to be a pretty large chunk of the country. Basically the upper plains, lower plains, mountain west, and virtually all of the south.

Yes. It’s time to kick these free loading states off our couch. The transfer of wealth to this states needs to stop. Do you have any idea how much more federal money these state take in vs generate?

A big upside would be it would be much easier to manage these states as third world countries. There would be 6-9 independent states all fighting among themselves with no military. The CIA would ensure these countries remain a basket cases. [/quote]

Lol you really do not understand how the world works. Oil, gas, farming, etc are control by corporations. Do you really think those corporations are going to stop selling product because Texas gets upset the USA? The new government of Texas would not last a day interfering with the interest of big oil. Let’s face it the new government of Texas would be controlled by the oil and gas companies. Texas would need to appease the US not the other way around.

Tell me which states are going to form a country. Let’s say Oklahoma and Texas get together. So Oklahoma will pay taxes to Texas and have little say in how things are run. How long do you think that will last? How about Wyoming, North Dakota, Alabama, Florida, etc. how many of those states are going to throw in with Texas? Surely you can see each of those states have totally different national goals vs Texas or their neighboring states. [/quote]
