Top three of CCL for 2005 girls has no NOVA teams. The only respectable looking girls side in CCL is Herndon. Prolly Loudoun and Arlington too but that’s because their CCL teams are feeders into their ECNL and GA teams.[/quote]

Lol Loudoun and Arlington are not using their CCL teams as feeders. The thing is the ECNL and GA teams will only give you are hard look if you are coming from an ECNL or GA team. It’s just the way things are. Once they select the girls at u13 that’s it for the most part. [/quote]

Well my kid plays for Loudoun ECNL and we in fact picked up two kids from the Red (CCL) team this fall. So, yes they are a feeder. But, thanks for the uninformed blather. Also, to the smarmy poster that stated McLean tied Loudoun 1-1, they dominated the game against us, missed about 4 point blank opportunities and we were lucky to tie. They are a superior team. However, in VA Richmond is the best team we’ve played this year. They have 3 players that are top class, are well coached and have no real weak spots other than they tend to over-possess at times. The NC and SC teams are a bit stronger overall but they have a few weak teams too.  Anyhow from all the many, many 05 games I’ve watched over the last three years here is how I’d rank the NOVA teams currently: McLean ECNL and FCV GA (tied 1), Arlington GA(3), Loudoun ECNL(4), VDA ECNL(5), BRYC ECNL(6), Herndon CCL and Metro United (tied 7). If we throw in MD teams, then Bethesda ECNL and Pipeline would all be slightly lower than FCV/McLean but higher than Arlington, and MD United would be about the same as Arlington. [/quote]
