Not across the board. DH is at the Pentagon. His division prepared transition materials and did briefings. The pause was because of the Solar Winds emergency congressional briefings and the insufficient number of lawyers to review everything in such a compressed time frame, especially with holiday leaves. WaPo reported more briefings are happening this week, probably why your neighbor had to stay. Because of the delayed start and the staffing changes, it's been a little chaotic but it is happening.

I'd buy this if Biden had not publicly complained. That's a pretty bold move for someone like Biden, who has seen a lot of transitions. And Biden surely remembers four years ago when Trump's "team" barely took advantage of the transition briefings and materials they were offered. Senior leadership at my organization were visibly concerned by it. Biden spoke up because things are very much out of the ordinary.[/quote]

I wish he would be more specific about where he's encountering these road blocks. I know for a fact many DOD transition briefings have already happened, but it would not surprise me if some of the loyalists are obstructing. Yes, there is a disagreement about some kind of a two-week halt, but Miller says there are several meetings this week. And Sullivan gives no specifics. Whose office is not responding, and re: what specific issues? Is a particular Secretary not responding to information requests in a timely manner, one or more DASDs? What are their areas etc.?  No-one is being instructed not to cooperate by leadership, so it's hard to know what's going on here. [/quote]
