Goodness, of course the actress is gorgeous and talented. I’m referring to how we’re supposed to think of the character Alexis at the beginning - that she’s shallow and appearance-focused and as a teenager would have cared about things like having her teeth straightened, as every other teenager in her socioeconomic set was also doing, Canadian or American. I’m not talking about real life, I’m saying it slightly disrupts my suspension of disbelief in watching the show. Which I just started season 2 of, so still have a lot left to watch, but I’m really enjoying it.[/quote]
