I've not read the whole thread, but it's typical DCUM. Older women, petrified of the attraction that younger women provide to men. I also think this is anti-feminist, insofar as DCUM does not accept that fully adult, young women may experience physical attraction and make their own choices as to whom they will spend time with or be involved with. Only menopausel women will decide for them and ironically, not a single one of you as young adults gave a crap about what older women thought.
I can't say it better myself.
Let me guess, you’re a man? No one said that young women weren’t capable of making a choice. Just that that choice to date a much older man is not typically based on sexual attraction, it’s based on other factors (money, status, etc). You can pretty much guarantee that if you are the man in that situation she does not love you and you do not turn her on. She probably doesn’t like sex much. Other factors are simply more important to her and she’s not desirable enough to get everything she wants. On the flip side, we also know that chasing youth is the most important thing to the man, which is creepy and desperate. And when I was in my 20s (I’m mid 30s now) I didn’t care what older women OR men thought because they were both kinda invisible. Just not on my radar beyond family members, coworkers, and family friends. I did care what I thought though - older men just don’t get the juices flowing and felt sleazy when they approached me. I did care what my friends thought though and I would have been mortified to be dating some old dad. Most girls can do better.
