Numbers are climbing at a scary rate. We aren’t going back so make what we have work.

We're certainly not going back right now, but it will not always be right now.
I'm afraid it's getting worse way too fast to be able to relax distance learning this school year. I'm hoping we'll be back in buildings next fall, for a significant number of kids if not all.
Whether we go back in weeks or months, the damage has already been done. Trolls have successsfully undermined any trust between families and staff and between both parties and MCPS.
We’re past all the political back and forth now. After Christmas, it will only get worse. No matter where your interests are, there’s not much of a choice when it comes to the virus. People can’t see the forest for the trees.
The union folks are all panicking on social media. It is hilarious to watch lol.
I’m union folk. Not panicking anywhere, let alone social media. Nor is anyone else I can see. Are you getting these reports from your right-wing websites?
No I am seeing their chatter on various facebook forums. Specifically they are panicked as they recently learned from an MCEA email that Dr. Gayles has no power to keep schools closed. They thought he was going to be their savior and keep schools closed until the pandemic was over, but BOE/MCPS has 100% authority to open or close schools. Also the state can order schools closed, which they will not.
They've been panicking since the last BoE meeting. Clearly they weren't expecting the Board members to stand up against MCEA. But the election is over, and MCEA couldn't even get Sunil elected.
