In reality, rankings are irrelevant as ultimately what matters is who you know. Given this reality, BC and GU are going to get you much further than Emory anywhere north of the Mason Dixon line.
You must have gone to BC because you aren't intelligent enough to use google. Emory top post-grad destinations 1. Atlanta, GA 2. New York, NY 3. Washington, DC 4. Chicago, IL 5. Boston, MA 6. Philadelphia, PA 7. Los Angeles, CA 8. Miami, FL 9. San Francisco, CA 10. Dallas, TX http://career.emory.edu/_includes/documents/Emory%20Employment%20Report%202018-2019.pdf
Says the person who believes credibility is established with a quick Google search and employment outcome figures from a source with a vested interest... Idiot. The fact that most graduates end up in Atlanta says enough.
Is something wrong with Atlanta?
Hardly a major city one aspires to end up in.
Have you even been to Atlanta in the past three years? It's a solid city with a lot to offer, especially for young people. I didn't know much about Emory before my kid applied and got a full ride merit scholarship. Alums are all over doing great things. However I do agree with the assessment that there isn't much difference in prestige between the three.
Some of you keep biting...Atlanta is in the south which automatically makes it unlivable to many of these intolerant snobbish idiots. Having one of their precious offspring attend a university in the south is definitely not acceptable.
