Meh. I’m from the Midwest and have no concern about UVA, but this sounds like someone who has a grudge against UVA. As a six generation midwesterner and  three generation Ivy Leaguer  (probably because of the geographical and then legacy hook lol) I can  tell you that Northwestern sends a slightly odd vibe of someone who’s trying for an Ivy  and didn’t make it. Feels like Cornell (which is not great but at least it’s “Ivy” if that’s actually your goal ). There are so many other schools of its caliber how have more solid things going for it. But It does draw the east coasters looking for that just missed Ivy feel. [/quote]
