[/quote] Bulk of nursing homes are not medicaid. Some nursing homes take it most don't and the care quality is really bad (been there/done that). And yes, the can toss you out. The one my family member was at tried to toss her out after I filed a complaint after a series of unexplained bruises. We had to have an attorney and ombudsman fight it for us.
